We distributed tons of cucumbers, tomatoes, cocktail tomatoes, green peppers, yellow peppers, red peppers & chillies to organisations, religious churches, mosques, feeding schemes, community leaders and to the communities.

First of all I would love to say thank you to our Heavenly Father for being with us National Youth Development League 24/7, as mentioned in our previous post this family’s house got burned. We National Youth Development League – NYDL managed to donate 4 boxes of Food Hampers and 5 packs of Hygiene Packs to the family, proudly organized by our founder and Executive Director Kalib Johannes Missoe. Thank you very much City of Cape Town and Disaster Risk Management Centre for making this available and delivering the Hampers.
YoungPeople@Work donated 3 bags full of blankets, curtains, clothes, shoes, sheets and a cash donation of R300 to the family. Open Heart Project led by Carmen Lindewal gave a financial contribution towards toiletries for the family. We National Youth Development League – NYDL are appealing for assistance and support for Da Gama United Domino Club. We compete every Sunday against various Dominoes Clubs and against each other in League games and tournaments.

The club are in need of Dominoes, wood to build more table and score boards, t-shirts to print on for all club members. Whistles and any contributions that will keep this initiative up , the club has about 26 players from the age range of 10-60 years age.

01 January 2021 we started with our first project for the 2021 year which is the Back 2 School Stationery Drive this project will take place until the last schooling year. Our aim is to provide 5000 school kids with Stationary, school shoes and school resources who cannot afford these needs. We have many kids at No Fees Schools who do not have any of these needs and can’t afford it due loss of income and family losing jobs due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. We assisted 194 matriculants with Casio Scientific Calculator, mathematical Sets, pens, pencils, notebooks, rulers, erasers. Our sponsors were Behaviour Resolutions NPO.
We received our first money donation this year by Shoprite with a gift voucher worth R850 towards our Food/Sanitary/Toiletries/Blankets Distribution Project starting from 01 January 2021 till 30 December 2021. We received our second donation from Pick n Pay Head Office this year with a gift voucher worth R3500 towards our Project.
